Technology Research and develop in 2000, sell in 2003,in a position of new leading light source. Standardized product can fully meet the market need, suitable for large scale production. The first red light LED was developed in 1968.Since then, its been 40 years. The first white light LED was in 1996.Invest risk high for technology update too fast. Not suitable for functional lighting project. The whole growing process is slow.
Market potential LVD can replace most of conventional light sources in functional lighting fields, so its potential market is huge. LED has developed for many years, but limited to traffic signal, vehicle rear light, LCD panel back lighting, display in lower wattage because of the low light efficiency, low power factor, scarcity of accommodated fittings.
Economy With the development of large scale production, LVD cost will be lowered to the same level of traditional lights or even lower, then it will be widely used. High cost, difficult to be widely used in some fields, limited in certain market.
Energy saving LVD efficacy is as 30% as higher than LED, with lower depreciation. Lower efficacy, lower power factor, high depreciation and heat output, not as saving as LVD. Semi-conductor technology consumes more energy during production.
Application Industrial, commercial, street, tunnel, bridge, garden, agriculture, Ad. … Traffic signal, vehicle rear lights, cell phone display screen etc. Limited in functional lighting projects.
Reference LVD has been widely used in various lighting projects. It is proved that LVD has big market potential, industrialization speed with scale effect. LED is drawn back by its technological problems. Probably another 5-10 years to go before it is industrialized and scaled.

    Jangan karena anda jual lampu induksi maka LED dibikin keliatan jelek, kalau LVD (lampu induksi) bagus kenapa Mercedez, Audi, Mazda, BMW, Ducati pakai LED di lampu utama di produk2 terbarunya, kok nggak pakai lampu induksi saja ? Simple

    Trus kenapa Philips, Osram, sama Panasonic rela bikin pabrik lampu LED dan bukan induksi ? Simple

    Trus kenapa PJU LED lebih laku dibanding induksi (LVD) walau harganya lebih mahal ? Simple

    LVD (induksi) memang lebih tahan lama dalam jam pemakaian tetapi lebih banyak komponen yang lebih rentan rusak (balast dll), serta kurang fleksibel dalam penggunaan (harus watt besar) dan demikian memang hemat energi tapi dalam kelas watt besar itu, beda dengan LED yang minim komponen (tanpa balast) tahan goncangan, watt bisa kecil besar terserah, dan LED jauh lebih hemat energi dari induksi, lihat pemakaian ampere pasti lebih kecil.

    2-2nya ada plus minusnya, saya yakin yg baca bisa menemukan informasi yang lebih seimbang, harus diakui LED adalah masa depan lampu, dalam 2-3 tahun lagi seluruh kelebihan LVD sudah terlampaui oleh LED

    Itu perbandingan zaman dulu. Sekarang 1 LED sudah ada yg mencapai 175Watt. Model COB. Pemakaian lampu LED juga semakin luas, bisa jadi melebihi LVD karna bentuknya ada yg besar dan kecil sehingga menyesuaikan kebutuhan user. Warnapun bervariasi. Dari sisi hargapun semakin ke sini semakin murah dari LVD.
